Welcome to MJ Artisan Gift Co. We are more than just a gift company—we are a family-run passion project dedicated to creating beautiful, sustainable postal gifts that protect our planet and nurture mental wellbeing.

Founded in 2009 by Amanda Waring, MJ Artisan Gift Co. began in a spare bedroom and has blossomed into a thriving online store. Today, we operate from our workshop and wholesale hub in North Nottinghamshire, sending thoughtful care packages across the UK and worldwide.

Meet the Founder

"As a practicing psychotherapist and registered counsellor (MBACP), I understand how difficult it can be to find the right words or gestures during life's major transitions. I wanted to bridge that gap by creating tangible comfort you can send through the mail." — Amanda Waring, Founder

Amanda started her graduate career as a Project Manager before transitioning into her true calling as an Integrative Counselling Therapist. Deeply passionate about the intersection of emotional wellbeing, neuroscience, and natural self-care, Amanda uses her clinical expertise to intentionally design each of our gift sets.

Our business is a true family affair. In 2019, Amanda’s husband, Matt, and their two eldest sons joined the company full-time, working alongside a dedicated team to hand-pack every single box with the utmost care.
